Attorney Don DeLaMare
Don grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, attending Highland High School in the Sugarhouse Area of Salt Lake. As a young man he organized a service project beautifying the area that is now Hidden Hollow adjacent to Sugarhouse Park. He learned Spanish as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Mexico, and as a result believes he is part Latino.
He met his wife April in the Summer of 2000; they married in mid-2001, have 3 daughters, and reside in West Valley City, Utah. Don worked construction through school at the University of Utah, graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering. He worked for several years for a local engineering firm that was acquired in 2013 by Curtiss-Wright Controls and Defense Solutions. He then chased his dream of attending law school at Creighton beginning in 2015, while enjoying the lush Midwest via a daily panorama of the Missouri River, graduating in 2018. After working at the U.S. Patent Office in Alexandria, Virginia, he returned to Utah in 2019.
He is a member of the Utah State Bar, and practices Business Immigration and Asylum Law with interests in Patent and Intellectual Property, Estate Planning, Real Estate, and the intersection between Criminal and Immigration Law.
